Wyalusing Open House

Brian Keeler will have an open house at his studio-gallery in Wyalusing, PA on Friday and Saturday, November 4 and 5. On Friday the hours will be from 4 to 8 and on Saturday from noon to 5. The event will offer a beautiful selection of paintings - plus a book signing for Keeler's new book, "Light on the Figure." Also- several paintings have been offered, landscapes of the northern Susquehanna region, as a fundraiser for the Susquehanna Summer Solstice Fest 2023. Saving the Susquehanna- Zoom Presentationtion

Brian Keeler presents a visual documentary of the Susquehanna RIver Region in regards to
the industrialization of the area. Using his own paintings done over the past four decades his
commentary focuses on the fragility of the beauty and the need for it to be protected. The
historical losses ads with destroyed buildings figures into the narrative. The possiblity of an
LNG plant being constructed near Wyalusing served as the red flag to activate many
residents to make a stand. Join us on Tuesday, November 1 at 10 am for this free zoom
meeing. Joining Keeler will be two experts on the environment, DIana Dakey of Protect

New Exhibit- The Mainstreet Galleries in Kingston, PA- This wonderful and longstanding gallery
in the Wilkes-Barre area will feature a new exhibit of my work this fall. The book singing and

The market has great craft beers and a terrific deli in a charminga 19th century landmark building. La Dolce Vita includes Harry Aceto on guitar, Nina Widger on vocals, Dave Davies on bass and Nathan Vargo on fiddle with yours truly on guitar.

POSTPONED - Book Launch - a publishing event!

Brian's new book "Light on the Figure" just reached completion of the design and editing process. The book presents Keeler's figurative paintings spanning more than four decades.
The book will be both in hardcover and digital form- with a unique aspect- that you'll be able to link to videos of many of the paintings being developed- and to essays about several works too.
This unique functionality between text, image and video allows the reader to see and hear from the author discussing the works and the creative process. Available at North Star Art Gallery May, 2022.
Come to Brian's studio in Wyalusing over during this weekend, Friday and Saturday. May 20 and 21st from noon to 5. (Check in for confirmation) as actual date may change.

Susquehanna Solstice Fest

The Susquehanna Solstice Fest is a unique celebration of the arts coupled with environmental advocacy and an appreciation for the region's remarkable history. This event is to be held on the beautiful and historic river plain at French Azilum, -between Towanda and Wyalusing, in Bradford County., PA.- The weekend will combine a plein air art event, weekend-long music performances, open jams and lessons, dance instruction and social dancing, a river sojourn with a kayak and canoe trip, children's art activities, presentations by historians and environmental experts, and tours of the historic site and grounds.
The music for the fest happens from Friday to Sunday.
